About S-WoBA

S-WoBA acts as a clearing house and central repository for bibliographic data about Nordic working papers in Business Administration. In most cases the working papers are also available in electronic form and can be downloaded from S-WoBA.

By collecting information about many working papers in one place we create critical mass and are able to generate quite a lot of traffic and publicity for the Scandinavian Business Administration profession, as can be seen from the statistics page. Getting your work into S-WoBA is the best way to get wide spread exposure for your research.

S-WoBA started out in 1998 as a purely Swedish project, initiated by the Stockholm School of Economics Library within its function of National Resource Library in economics. S-WoPEc is now being run with the support of the Economic Resarch Institute (EFI) at the Stockholm School of Economics. Since there has been a considerable interest from the other Nordic countries, the scope was expanded in the beginning of 2001 and participation from all the Nordic countries is now welcome. Scandinavian Working Papers in Business Administration is thus somewhat of a misnomer. It is really a Nordic project, but this way we can keep the S-WoBA name of the site.

Authors and the organizations sponsoring the different working paper series retain full control of their work. S-WoBA doesn't claim copyright, ownership or anything like that (there is more information about copyright issues). We do not keep the full text files on the S-WoBA server, instead we link to the full text files on the organizations own web server.

We have a test series for those who want to play and see how things work.

A few notes on using the forms:

• Working papers are added to the series when a number for the working paper is given. The numbers for the test working paper series are in the format yy/nn, i.e. 97/4.
• Only working paper coordinators are allowed to supply a number for the working paper. For the test working paper series the coordinator password is blank, enter any character in the WP-coordinator password field and the number in the WP-number field at the end of the form.
• There is a delay of up to one hour before the working paper appears on the web.
• You can't upload electronic documents for the test working paper series. Everything else that can be done with a real working paper series is possible.
